Interconnected Network or Internet is a global communication system, to connect computers and computer around the world which use the internet protocol suite (TCP/IP) to connect them. Unlimited sources of information services such as documents, electronic mail, phone and file sharing are owned by the internet. For every computer connected to the network well on directly or indirectly to some of the main lines are called Internet Backbone and for every computer network has a different address it called IP address (Internet Protocol). Interner has three basic concepts there is URL (Uniform Resource Locator), Transfer Protocol, DNS (Domain Name System). Network and the computer has a variety of different platforms and characteristics (Windows, Linux, Mac, etc) but they exchange the information with a standard protocol know as TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol). TCP/IP is composed of four layers which has its own protocol (Network Access, Internet, Host-To-Host Transport and Application).
URL (Uniform Resource Locator)
URL is one of the basic concept of internet where the URL is used to determine the address or location information on a web server.

Transfer Protocol
Transfer Protocol is one of the basic concept of internet, where information on the Internet are sent by an existing protocol on the transfer protocol.
HTTP is one of the standard transfer protocol for a web page. some other protocols in the internet are :
HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) protocol is standard protocol that used for access document HTML. And this protocol determine the rules in asking or taking some document in web browser and web server in providing document that web browser request.
FTP (File Transfer Protocol), this protocol for downloading and uploading some file in FTP server. With this we can exchanges file quickly. At this time many programs or software which is free to be downloaded from anywhere in the internet.
Telnet, this protocol is used to login in a computer server. Telnet allow us to access computer which is far away from our computer.
SSH (Secure Shell) is designed for replacing telnet with the advantage in security, operate throught TCP and provide authentification and secure communication.

DNS (Domain Name System)
DNS is the last basic concept of internet. DNS is used for naming or standard formats to simplify the management of computer servers on the internet. DNS create a domain level for groups of computers connected to the internet.
Example for DNS : - .com for commercial organisations
- .net for network related companies
- .org for general organisations
- .info for sites provide to informations
- .tv often used by broadcasters
- .gov.uk for government UK
- .ac.uk for academic sites
- .sch.uk for school sites

Some country domain extension :
.ac (United Kingdom Academic Institute)
.au (Australia)
.br (Brazil)
.ca (Canada)
.id (Indonesia)
.jp (Japan)
.sg (Singapore)
.uk (United Kingdom)

The internet was formed by the United States defense department in 1960s, through the ARPA project to develop a network called the ARPANET (Advanced Research Project Agency Network). In 1989, 42% of adults in the United States had used a computer. The first mobile phone with internet access was introduced in 1996. In the end of 2006 about 16% of people in the world use the internet and MySpace and Internet Explorer were on top. In 2007 Apple released the first generation iPhone, and Blackberry was the phone of choice at the time, with 36% of Americans users using Blackberry, and 20% of people in the world use the internet that year. Instagram and Pinterest are social photo sharing media introduced in 2010, with internet users in the world 28%. Facebook reached 1 billion user in 2012 and bought instagram and internet users in the world reach 35% in 2012. In 2015 the website is already there on the internet and make the web really become interactive to the visitor. And in june 2017 there are 51% or 3.885 millions of internet users in the world.
