Internet under attack; how to prevent this in the future?
Today the internet's DNS system came under attack. There are lots of news stories covering it so I won't go into details here. I immediately started looking for solutions. One of the first results was Namecoin. I'd never heard of it prior to today, it looks interesting. I just purchased some, has anyone been following its development?
What are some other options for preventing, or minimizing the impact of this type of attack?
