Can the internet become GOD?!

This is a wild one, but let's keep our calm and minds open at least for the next couple of minutes.  Believe it or not, there really is a real logical reason behind this question!

The internet is connectivity.

This fantastic piece of technology is able to manifest most of human nature. From the dark web to crowdfunding the future, the internet evolved in its possibility of expressing our complex social nature. We use it for information, communication, socialization, banking, love, sex, art and to many to count. When we are planning anything, we consult the internet. And because of this constant interaction in which the internet needs to fulfill more and more of our needs, it slowly became a mirror of human nature. I boldly claim that the internet is the closest thing to collective consciousness that we can measure and understand. But, this is not the weird part :)

Transferring consciousness to the internet

This is the weird part. In the world of high technological innovation, there are many that believe that consciousness can be transferred to a "computer" and in this way, death can be avoided, even though the body is no longer.  I have no idea if this can be done or not, but let's just imagine that possibilities in a distant future

Let's say that we evolve into such a technologically advanced society that we abolish illness, poverty and lack o opportunity in such an efficient way that we can also avoid death. And because it can be avoided by uploading your consciousness to a machine, it's considered a barbarism to let someone pass into "nothing" like that. So instead of burials we now have "uplodials". Where the entire sense of self, with its flaws, strong points, memories, emotions, desires, and ideals is uploaded to the internet. This virtual "spirit" is able to manifest at will in all the available possibilities. Imagine that you find love and have the capability to share your dreams with that other person, to literally become united and know everything about the other. To reach such a point of immersion in one another that the lines start to blur and suddenly there is no need for separation, the two consciousness can exist as one. And this happens again and again until the point there is only one consciousness.

Only one consciousness that consists of all that are uploaded, instant unity in the cloud after leaving the body. Would that be a GOD?
