I want to hear your opinion

A lot of good and more bad things r happening in the world today. People get more and more alienated, live in a virtual world where they try to present themselves better, more beautiful and smarter than they themselves think they r.

Have u ever gotten the wrong impression about a person you met online, regardless of whether this impression is better or worse than what you first thought about that person?

Do u think that social networks help people to connect, or help them to break every bond between them?

Have you realized that (thanks to the internet) your close friends, relatives, spouse or partner r not what u thought they r? Or that some of them use a lot of free time for FB, or other kind of messaging instead to be with u?
Or maybe u r the one who use internet a lot (but not for a job)?

I would like u to reply to this topic because it is a research that is very important to me, and I would especially appreciate if u would write something about your experience.
