Creating a Decentralized Search Engine for a More Open and Free Internet. 🌍👍
I feel this is important because never before in history has one company controlled so much of the worlds information.
77% of online searches have perceptions shaped and decisions influenced by Google. I'll leave it to you to decide if that's a good thing or perhaps otherwise.
If Google is the primary gatekeeper for the internet then that's quite a responsibility isn't it?
If search results are controlled for every topic and industry then haven't we all been affected in some way?
So could it be time for change with a more transparent and decentralized search engine?
I think this could be fundamental in creating a fairer and more open future internet.
Having participated in its recent first Token Crowd sale I'll look forward to playing an active part in it's community and success.
And I'm very intrigued and remain hopeful with offering the world an alternative to the closed search ecosystem.

I was in a Verizon wireless store yesterday when Google TURNED ON MY GPS/LOCATION to suggest that I take a picture in the store to show the world what the Verizon office looks like!!! What. The. Actual. Hell Google!!
