The Other Side of the Internet.

Imagine there was no Internet for a month, the blowback would be far reaching especially as everyone and everything connected to it would suffer.

The role the internet plays in our daily lives cannot be over emphasized. We have come to appreciate the ways it has made our lives a whole lot easier from shopping from the comfort of our homes,booking flights,running businesses,entertainment,access to up to the minute news,making a living from it,social networking and all the other positive ways it has influenced our lives.

While it has been useful to us,it also has its negative effect namely it has disconnected a lot of people from reality,It is being used as a weapon to gather information by shady businesses,corporations and governments to pursue their agendas.

We have to be wary of the kind of information we put into the internet about ourselves because as you know information/ knowledge is power and it has become the new currency that is being traded on the internet as can be seen by the Facebook|Cambridge analytica Saga using the information they gathered about us to game the system.

We should be more responsible and conscious about what we put on the world wide web concerning our personal lives. So it doesn't come back to bite us in the ass.
