World Folk Music Event at AIUB on International Mother Language Day

At the initiative of the Office of Student Affairs of American International University, Bangladesh (AIUB), a virtual program of folk music performances from various organizations around the world titled `` Folklore 2021-Symphony of the World '' was celebrated at international level. This unique event on the occasion of International Mother Language Day 2021 is essentially the first event of its kind, which crosses the country's borders and performs music and dances respecting the folk music tradition of distant generations. of the whole world. The “Folklore 2021-Symphony of the World” features the incredible rhythms of young talents spread across the globe, showcasing their native languages and the prevailing contemporary culture and traditions. Thirty student groups from 16 institutions in 10 countries performed music and dance at the event, which celebrated the diversity of unification rather than world division. Harmony is a very important effort to overcome the turbulent environment we are going through today.
