This unique biscuit has been auctioned for $ 23,000
In the event of the Titanic ship drowning in 1912, a biscuit left out was recently auctioned. This biscuit was auctioned for $ 23,000, which is by far the most expensive sale biscuit. This square shape of biscuit made of flour is 9-10 centimeters.
It was also a biscuit in the necessity of stuff in the lifeboat at the time of the Titanic incident. Before the sale of this biscuit, Andrew Aldridge, who conducted the auction, said that the Spillers and Bakers Company pilot biscuit was found in the defense-boat survival kit.
It was first seen by James Fenwick and he saved it as a sign and put it in a waterproof envelope. Fenwick and his bride Mabel came out of New York on a Carpathia ship for their three-month honeymoon. Carpathia vessel was included in the rescue operation after the Titanic drowning, and Fenwick found this biscuit at the same time. Fenwick has a wonderful collection of photographs related to this rescue operation, including this biscuit.
According to the auctioneer Andrew, this is the world's most expensive biscuit. It has been sold to a buyer in Greece. I have been auctioned for the last 20 years after the Titanic accident, but before the sale of this biscuit, nothing has ever been sold so expensive.

such an interesting find. it just makes me wonder why the biscuit is still intact.. for the longest time i think it will look crushed and powdery already.
