Guerra de Yon Kippur (Ramadán)
En 1973 se desataría la ultima guerra entre Israelíes y Árabes. Todo ocurrió durante la fiesta de Yon Kippur, la gran fiesta judía.
Las hostilidades se dieron por la negativa del estado judío en devolver los territorios ocupados en 1967 (Guerra de los 6 días) a los países árabes como Egipto y Siria.
Egipto reclamaba la península del Sinaí y a Siria los Altos del Golán. Estos 2 paises aprovecharon la fiesta religiosa para atacar contundentemente, los sirios usaron aviones MIG-17, 30.000 soldados y 1.260 carros de combate, por su parte Egipto usó 150 MIG-21, 800 tanques y cerca de 9000 hombres.
