What is intelligence?
Simple question that lead you to a lot of answers, so is it good memory, inserting and retrieving data faster. Or is it speed reaction on anything, is it creativity, well I was searching like it was one ability. I mean who said that intelligence is one single ability, why it can’t be many abilities.
In general intelligence is learning from experience and using what we have of knowledge to resolve problems and adapt to situations. Effectively there are many types of intelligence; Howard Gardner proposes eight that are: Existential intelligence, Musical, Logical-Mathematical, intrapersonal, interpersonal, Naturalist, Spatial, Bodily-kinesthetic.
In addition to those types Sternberg Roberts suggests three more: Analytical, practical and creative intelligence. And nowadays people can’t help speaking about Emotional intelligence as another type that based on how we perceive, understand, use and manage our emotion i mean the self ad the other.
Human in general look always how to measure things, like time, also intelligence but still neither the time neither the intelligence are measurable things, because first of all they aren’t things they are concepts.
Finally they are a lot of question that needs to be thought in and i want to share it with you:
Does intelligence remain the same overtime?
What’s the relation between consciousness, unconsciousness brain and intelligence?
Is IQ tests are trusted to be a precise way of measurement?
Is intelligence due to genetics or environment?
