[공지] 인슈어리움(ISR) 바이백 및 소각 관련 업데이트 4/24
안녕하세요 인슈어리움 서포터 여러분,
인슈어리움 재단 측에서 진행중인 바이백 및 소각 관련하여 공지드립니다.
저희 인슈어리움 팀은 지난 3월 27일 새벽에 발생한 도난 사건으로 인해 유실된 인슈어리움을 최대한 복구하는데 총력을 다하고 있으며, 피해 규모를 최소화하면서도 가장 빠르게 복구할 수 있는 방법을 찾았고 현재 실행 중에 있습니다.
인슈어리움(ISR)의 총 발행량인 2억 9,700만 개 중 약 2,900만 개(29,798,809 ISR)가 도난 된 것으로 파악되었으며, 즉각적인 피해 복구를 위해 스마트 컨트랙트 업그레이드를 실행하였습니다. 이 과정에서, 약 2,500만 개(25,109,008 ISR)를 소각 시킨 뒤, 재발행하여 도난한 주체의 사용을 금할 수 있었습니다. 하지만 유관 기관들의 모니터링에도 불구하고 총 468만 개의 ISR이 도난한 주체를 통해 시장에서 유통되었고, 인슈어리움 재단은 이로 인한 피해를 최소화하기 위해 바이백 및 소각을 결정하게 되었습니다.
저희 인슈어리움 재단 측은 소각을 결정한 뒤, 4월 초순 경부터 계속해서 ISR 매수를 진행하였습니다. 시장의 상황을 고려하여 천천히 매수를 진행하고 있으며, 소각 수량의 매수를 마치는대로 소각할 예정입니다.
앞으로 최대 2주의 기간이 소요될 것으로 예측하며, 늦어도 5월 8일까지는 1, 2차 소각을 모두 마칠 예정입니다.
소각 수량은 총 700만 개가 될 예정입니다. 시장에서 이상 transaction을 통해 유통된 468만 개를 1차 소각한 뒤, 추가적으로 232만 개를 2차 소각하기로 결정하였으며, 이는 시장에서 유통된 수량에 대한 임팩트를 최소화하기 위함입니다. 1, 2차 소각 모두 해당 수량을 0X0000...0000 주소로 전송한 뒤, burn 함수를 통해 실행할 예정이며 소각 이후 총 유통량이 줄어드는 것을 확인하실 수 있습니다. 따라서, 1, 2차 소각 이후에는 총 2억 9,000만 개의 유통량이 남을 예정입니다.
앞으로 1, 2차 소각의 정확한 일시가 정해지는 대로 업데이트 드릴 예정이며, 저희 인슈어리움은 바이백 및 소각 중 발생하는 모든 기술적 문제를 처리하는데 최선을 다하겠습니다.

[Release] Insureum(ISR) Buyback and Burn Update 4/24
Dear Insureum Supporters,
The following update is regarding buyback and burn of ISR, which will be held by Insureum Foundation.
As we have noticed earlier, a theft case appeared on March 27th and we have been dedicated to finding a solution in order to minimize the damage and recover as quickly as possible.
Approximately 29M(29,798,809 ISR) were stolen out of 297M, and we have gone through smart contract upgrade to immediately stop the circulation of the stolen ISR.
In the process of upgrading, we have burnt and reissued about 25M(25,109,008 ISR) and successfully have blocked leakage by the theft.
However, despite heavy monitoring of all exchanges, a total of 4.68M stolen ISRs were leaked into the market before the upgrade and the Insureum Foundation decided buyback and burn the corresponding quantity to completely eliminate this issue.
After deciding on buyback and burn, we've continued to slowly buyback ISR from early April and plan to complete the whole process within 2 weeks from now, which we expect to finish by May 8th at the latest.
The total quantity we are planning on burning is about 7M ISR; which will be executed in two rounds, 1) 4.68M burn in the first round 2) and the remaining 2.32M burn in the second round.
The reason we are burning additional 2.32M ISR is to minimize the impact on the market caused by the theft case, and as a result of the burn, we will be left with a balance of 290M ISR.
We will update the exact date and time of burn as we complete buyback during the next 2 weeks and do our best to deal with all technical problems that may come up during the process.
