Good post @annie.kutelova up until Feb last year I had an account that was dormant. I had no idea until my younger brother and online marketing genius showed me the potential. Its amazing how just one post done in the right way can reach so many people. The same effort in Facebook would hardly reach that many in comparison. I have been with steemit for just over two weeks and now instagram as well as twitter with the hash tags has played a massive role in developing a community here. In the bio section I have placed what is known as a capture page link. What this does is allow me to have permission to build a list of emails in exchange for a service or info that they want in this case, my latest posts over there are related to steemit. In most cases people will come to your website or social site have a look and disappear maybe only to reappear later but with someone else so a capture page link reduces that risk because you can re target and re educate your subscriber list. This is not to be confused with spamming which would be when you get emails without the receivers consent and start mailing out. What this method does is give you a chance to re engage with the window shopper that just came in had a look and left. You pointed out a few good points there thank you. Another tip i will share with you is ive been using a free version of an app called ripl which you can create video slide shows with music.
