Instagram Stories Older Photos

One of the attractions of the Stories feature in Instagram is that all content will only be displayed for 24 hours. However, users can still see photos or videos that have been uploaded in Stories, even though it has been more than 24 hours.

All photos and videos uploaded in Stories are still stored in Archive Instagram. The Archive feature with this clock icon is on the user profile page.

Photos and videos in Archive are accompanied by the date and list of accounts that have viewed the upload. Here are three simple steps to nostalgia with old photos and videos Instagram Stories:

Open the Instagram App

You must open Instagram application first, then go to profile. Then, you'll see an Archive icon that sits side by side with Saved at the top of the profile page.

For the record, all Instagram Stories in the Archive are only visible to the owner. Therefore, you do not have to worry about anyone else accessing it.

Tap the Archive icon

When you hit the Archive icon that contains two choices of "Stories" and "Posts". Select the Stories menu to view the content uploaded in Stories before.

All content not only comes with the date and list of friends who have viewed the upload, but there are also other menus like Highligh, Delete, Save Video, and Share as Post.

Can reshare old Stories again

Archive feature has one more interesting option that user can upload back old Stories through "Share" feature. However, later on there will be information that shows the photo or video it comes from Archive.
