Instagram uses Artificial Intelligence to Prevent Offensive comments !...

Instagram, the Facebook photo sharing platform on Thursday, announced a new candidate for elimination and the removal of bad comments using artificial intelligence. The application first began offering this feature last September, but it was a very simple approach. It could only remove comments containing words and phrases that it specifically identified as offensive, and users can also add their own restricted adware.

                                                    

Now, the system is evolving and becoming smarter. The latter uses automated learning techniques to identify comments that seem offensive, giving the system some ability to take into account the context of the response, perhaps monitoring more bad comments and reducing false positives at the same time.

One of the other notable changes here is that Instagram will activate the offensive comment filter by default. You'll still have the option to turn it off in your app settings by clicking the Settings menu under Profile and going down to click Notifications and then switching the Hide offensive comments option.
