Inspirational Story: You Are What You Are, So Never Give Up
Once upon a time, there was a large mountainside, and an eagle nest with 4 large eggs inside. One day, a powerful earthquake hit the mountain, causing one of the eggs to roll down to the nearby chicken farm, locked in a valley below.
The chicken knew that they must protect the eagle egg, so they started hatching the eagle egg same like their other chicken eggs. Eventually, the eagle egg hatched and a gorgeous eagle bird came out of the egg. Being chicken, the chickens raised the eagle to be a chicken, and didn't train him how to fly. Although the small eagle bird was happy with the chicken family, but sometimes his spirit would cry out for more and learn how to fly. One day, the eagle looked to the skies above and noticed a group of mighty eagles soaring. When the eagle bird saw them, he said - "I wish I could fly and soar like those birds." When the chickens listen to his words, then they started laughing, and said to that eagle bird -
"You cannot soar and fly like those eagles. You are a chicken and chickens never soar. The eagle stared at his real family flying above him, while dreaming he could have been like them. Each time the eagle talked about his dreams, he was discouraged by his so called chicken family members, and he never learned how to soar and fly."
That was what the eagle learned to believe. Since he was never informed about his capabilities, he never learned how to fly. After some time, the eagle bird stopped even thinking about flying and continued to live his life as a chicken. Finally, after a long life as a chicken, the eagle passed away. You become what you believe you are. If someone says that you are good for nothing, and you take his or her advice seriously, then you would never come out of that thinking. So, don't listen to other people, for what they are saying against you, cause you have to make your own path like the eagle, or else you'll lose what you can become like that eagle bird. If you ever dream to become an eagle, follow your dreams, not the words of chicken around you.
