If only God could be packaged so neatly. Sometimes, He will use various reasons for keeping the "wrong" people in your life, as purification, and/or as a hedge of protection around the "wrong" person.
When God wants someone to be gone, He Divinely Orchestrates.
I am reminded of Hosea, whose wife was wayward. God ordered him to go to the streets to reclaim his wife.
The unbelieving spouse covers the believing spouse.
It would be neat if everything was so cut and dry; but, people enter our lives to make us better, or for us to make them better, or, in many cases, both.
