Ever been a victim of low self-esteem and discouragement?

Have you ever tried something for the first time and instead of people encouraging you they want to bring you down and tell you that you suck at it or hopefully you might get it someday but not now. Sometimes these people can even be our family and closest friend some might tell you these thinking its some kind of encouragement but instead reducing your self esteem and confidence.
Have you ever put your best in something and people try to still find a way to say you aren't really serious about it, or you're going to be selfish? They see you put your everything time, energy,treasure and talent and yet they want to call you selfish even after seeing your commitment to it.
Have you ever tried out something new,big and selfless but people still want to say that you're too small to go for it and might just crash? They want to say you probably won't be able to hold it up and no one will even listen to you or assist?
Have you ever been in a situation where you're putting yourself out to help someone or people and they don't even appreciate? Have you ever wished that even one person wouldn't give up on you and see your uniqueness and potentials?
Have you ever felt punished even by your smallest and most harmless doing and wish someone will just see things your perspective and understand you?
Well a quick advise? Ignore them,focus on you,channel the bad vibes to energy, stick to what you do,go for it don't be afraid of mistakes or what might go wrong because someone who never made mistakes,never tried anyting new.

Love the post! People don't like seeing other people make their own rules, it intimidates them. People would rather see the free-minded think like everyone else. It's like an alcoholic who tries to get their non-alcoholic friend to drink. They only try to get them to drink so they can feel secure about their own failure.
Yes,they want to call you insecure when theyre the one insecure of you succeeding or being better

No matter what keep saying to ypurself that you'll achieve your set out goals and even if something goes wrong twist it and think about what good could come out of it

Yea,i always believe that everything works together for my good,even if what happened is seen to be bad there's a good that can come out and that's what i look at in situations
Great post @queenerica! All of the above I've encountered in my life and more... Sometimes people will even try to sabotage you, even your "friends". Usually it's because your success makes them feel inferior to you. I will point that out and hope they "get it". But these day i go by this motto: "Either you're good for me or you're not in my life". I don't need many friends, I need good ones...
Yes,i have just like 2 friends and i'm gonna....i'll rather have little or no friends who actually want the best for me than a bunch of envious people
The best thing is not to listen to what people say. It can be very painful putting your best into a project but still discouraged by the ones you adore. But still, the best thing is not to listen to any negative comments.
