Remember to take a moment for yourself

Sometimes for whatever reason we can find ourselves feeling trappped by our own negative thoughts. The next time you find yourself dwelling on a negative thought just take a moment and breathe.

Fully and conciously think about this breathing. Notice the change of temperature at the end of your nose. Notice how you can feel cool air coming in, warm air coming out.

It can also help to think of your thoughts as clouds in the sky or floating on a river. You can sit on the river bank and watch them simply float on by, as you just focus on your breath and the fact you are here now. Feeling the cool air going in and the warm air going out.
