For me, scars are a proof of action. A proof of experience. The lasting marks of a decision that has been made....good or not so good.
Our body does the best it can to pull us back together and heal what has happened, even if it leaves a lasting mark. Even with emotional scars there is healing that happens, but there are still scars that make us remember.
These scars should not be ignored, and we should not be embarrassed by them. We should remember where they come from and draw strength from it. If the past is past, we can't change it. We can however learn from it and move forward. We need to find the balance. Be well.

I have many scars some physical and some emotional. Time will heal all wounds but the scars remind us if what happened both good and bad. Our outlook on them scars are what makes us who we are and molds our lives every day.
Very true. I have plenty of visible scars and plenty of hidden ones. No body gets through life without some. The way I see it now is that I earned them they do make us stronger . You are right they are the foundation to build the future on. Very though provoking post.
