All points you listed are so valid!
1.) Encourage your creativity.
2.) Train your brain to be more creative.
Some people (like I was), are so quick to blame their lack of talent as the major issue in their lives. Number two shows that sufficient hard work and consistency, can get one farther than even someone who is extremly talented, but lacks the zeal to push through.

Yes, yes, yes. This can never be over emphasized! Iron indeed sharpeneth iron.
I agree. Although talent is important, hard work and determination is even more important. If you don't work hard to get your talent noticed, how can you expect it to get noticed otherwise?
Right?
And even if you get noticed, you have to keep working to get better :)
