NO MAN IS FREE

They say free will is the greatest gift given to mankind
We make our choices, we decide our actions Freewill is highly overrated
For in real truth no man is free

Money is a god we worship
Food is a god we need
Love is a god that enslaves all.
Hatred is a god that bends the heart to his will.

Clothing is a god of necessity
Jewelries and accessories, the goddess of envy and spite
Sex is a god that drowns the heart and soul
Death is a god that eventually takes us all.

In exercising our will
We still obey these gods
doing their every bidding,
Observing their laws.

Though we kid ourselves with inner strength And pride ourselves in making our own choices The hard truth still remains
That no man is truly free.
