VICTORY THROUGH PRAISE

Text Psalms 146:1-5

Praise the Lord!
Let all that I am praise the Lord.

I will praise the Lord as long as I live.
I will sing praises to my God with my dying breathe.

Don't put your confidence in powerful people;
There is no help for you there

When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them

But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God

"The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence. But we will bless the Lord from this the forth and for ever more Praise the Lord". The living God should be adored by living people. Our God that blesses his people should also be blessed, praise and worshipped by the same people who have received of His blessings.

It is disheartening that God's own people find it difficult to praise Him. As for is, we should resolve to bless the Lord in praises, songs, testimonies and actions because our God, "inhabits the praises of His people Israel"

Believers are called to praise God because of His several blessings like salvation, sanctification, baptism In the Holy Spirit, and delieverance s from demonic oppressions and evil spirits. We arebdto bless the Lord for our healing, for giving children to the barren, for victory over temptations and for His presence in times of trouble.

We are called to praise the Lord for our families, the church, our pastors and gospel workers, the house Caring fellowship, not eds supplied, for spiritual growth, knowledge, wisdom and needed grace.

Praise removes the greatest of mountains and brings down fenced cities like the walls of Jericho. Praise releases the power of God into set circumstances and enables God to change those circumstances.

Praise shows that we are grateful for God's blessings and it gives room for more blessings as we praise Him continually in all circumstances.
