Insomniatic Dreams by S.J.D. Howson.

Hello today we are reviewing Insomniatic Dreams by S.J.D. Howson.you may know her on youtube as nanalew but she's also an author a poet of insomniatic dreams

this book is full of poems and they are so good she has several different styles that she writes in and some of the poems will remind you of Shakespeare EE

cummings she actually did a poem that's all in lowercase and that's what remind me of EE cummings and he's one of my favorite poets and there's also some that kind of remind me of Lewis Carroll

because it's all like the nature themes and stuff you do not want to rush read in this book it is so good it's like dark chocolate cake just so decadent

and just so like you might even want to just let it sit sit in set in marinate while you are reading it you might want to just like sit back after reading

a poem and just think about it for a little bit I definitely did that a few times where I just SAT back and I was like wow just because some of the poems

are really heavy and some of them are kind of dark some of them are about breakups and love I felt that the imagery in her poems are very tangible

when she was talking about summer I felt the like moist air like hot heat I love imagery by the way that's why I appreciate this book as well as like imagery yes pixies and all this stuff

I did have to read some poems twice or three times it's not because of difficulty is just like ok did I get that and read it and read it it just to kind of get like the full effect of it in this book Shana shows that the pen is

mightier than the sword some of these words is cut right through you like my dancing dress it's pretty much about just I guess not liking this person at the same time that they like you

and so you just have to just let it go my top five favorite poems from this book our love in the thicket my dancing dress spindles of divine lights and forbidden forbidden

I liked that a lot because it's pretty much her saying you know like I need to stick to my faith and just because I like you doesn't mean I need to be with you just it.
