Lil' Yellow Spider 🕷️
Found this lil' yellow fellow hanging fron its own web silk, in the air, or so it seemed.
Anyway, I gently took it by the silk thread (didn't know if it's poisoneous to ppl so I didn't take any chances) it was hanging on, and put it on a white plate (for the lighting effect) to take some macro shots of it.
It's called the yellow spider (also known as the Goldenrod Crab Spider and its official name Misumena Vatia), originates from the north of the Earth (ie all countries above the equator) and is not poisonous (now you can relax).
These spiders can be yellow or white, depending on which flower they sit down.
The young females, who sit on a wider variety of flowers (on sunflowers or chrysanthemums), can change their color according to their wishes.
Changing the color from yellow to white takes about 6 days, and the change from yellow to rectangle takes 10 to 25 days.
The spider's defense method is camouflage and therefore it lives on flowers like Goldenrod, in the fall season, and is known as a predator of flies, butterflies, small grasshoppers and especially bees that come to rest on the same flower.
Enjoy!

Lovely as usual. Where do you find these pretties?
Also, can you do a macro photo of such a spider, like the one with the fly eyes?
Thank you dear 😄 I mostly find them in my garden and sometimes in the forest or vally near my house in Tiv'on. I tried to go for the eyes but they were too small.. got the teeth though
