BUG ... in the GRASS ...
A big fly type insect. Looks like a giant mosquito with a long thin tail, resembling bamboo. . It's about 2 1/2 inches long.
@whatisnew would most likely know what this is....

That is definitely a Damselfly. It is great to see the wings in your photo. I don't see many damselflies and when I do, their wings are never spread out like this. A giant mosquito? No way. LOL! Damselflies are so cool looking. : ) Thanks for using #insectpub tag Mike. : )
