Injective Protocol's February 2021 Update: A recap on how this powerful protocol came into play and surprised the entire crypto space.

Good morning to all of us here in the cryptocurrency space! Today I would like to talk about another month of what I am supporting in this industry which is no other than the Injective Protocol. If you would like to check my first blog post about Injective, you may navigate it here:

So what's in it that are the milestones of the project and what's brewing for Injective Protocol last February and upcoming months? Here they are!

A. Equinox Staking

Last month, it kickstarted the start of the Equinox Staking testnet.

To loop you into those who are just starting to discover or first time to know Injective protocol and its native token INJ, this Equinox staking is the one that is being made for those who wanted to be validator/node runners and delegators to the Injective Protocol's growth, security and community catalyst for wide adoption. As we all know, Staking is the way wherein you stake/lock the digital assets to secure the network and make validations on the transactions if it is legitimate or not and also to prevent any 51% attacks, etc. Then the rewards are being split-up into those who are staking depending on the amount and what is their role in the network.

For a sample screenshot of the Equinox Staking dashboard, here it is:

You would see in there the returns and how much will you get on daily, monthly, and yearly returns. Not only that. There are also parameters that can be seen here to increase your INJ rewards dramatically!

Here are they:

Baseline APY boost---> When we say Baseline APY, it will be in addition to what you will be going to earn and you need to do some tasks about it. Such as transferring a $INJ token to a validator. This baseline APY is about 3%

Claim and re-stake your rewards/reinvesting boost---> This is one of another thing that is exciting with INJ token staking. They are considering the power of compounding as well for their stakers. Which is a good thing! Because it teaches us to compound and re-invest what we earn in order for it to grow more. So with this one, the INJ team will give another 0.5% APY boost.
Re-delegation---> This is when you are going to re-delegate INJ tokens to any validator node globally. You can re-delegate a portion of your INJ as per the Injective team. If you will do this, you will get another +0.5% APY boost.
Injective Protocol's On-chain governance voting---> When we say governance, and you are holding INJ tokens, each tokens has 'voice' to the plans, actions and 'moving forward' of the protocol. Meaning, you as a holder of INJ tokens and it is also staked in the Equinox staking program entitles you to vote and APY boosts as well! and they will give you +2% APY boost.
Proposal for the market listing--> Being in the governance and your said token where you voted was short-listed for the voting, you will also get APY boost of +3%.
Successful listing of your proposed token to be listed on Injective Exchange--> If the one that you proposed was listed, there will be another +5% APY boost on top of other apy earnings accumulated. So awesome!
Special tasks (+3% APY) boost---> Take advantage of the different tasks to be given to you as a staker because they are also going to give that boost to your investments. All of these are done with the effort of our CEO Eric and his team especially the community initiatives!

B. Leading Validators who Joined the Equinox Staking

---> Aside from the individuals who are going to participate in the staking, there will be also big time names in the crypto space who will join and test the Equinox staking as well! All of them are staking billions worth of digital assets such as: Cosmos, Band Protocol, Elrond, Terra, and Solana.

To summarize for you guys, Those 3 big names who have joined the validator team for Injective are Stakewith.us, Chorus and Huobi Pool. Who are they and why they are important for the Injective's vision and mission? Well, here are a quick recap about them.

Huobi Pool--> This is owned by the Huobi alongside their exchanges and with their running Huobi token. They do also have what we call as HECO chain which can manage smart contracts just like Ethereum and Binance smart chain.
Stakewith.us---> This company is a Singaporean-based validator and also managing assets from the investors to earn yields as well.
Chorus---> As the name implies, this is like a mutual fund of crypto and is Europe-based. They do have total assets under management of about $500 M US Dollars. They hold different crypto assets and I am glad because Injective is a part of them to be included in their portfolio.

Injective Protocol's partnerships, collaboration, and integrations of technology

Avalanche integration---> Because AVAX is one that is an expert when it comes to derivatives and ILOs or initial litigation offerings, they are perfect for cross-chained transactions and bridges for INJ. Not only that, there will be a massive solution for the growing gas fees with the use of INJ exchange and AVAX.

HUOBI ECO Chain---> This is what I have said earlier will be the one to watch because it is going to be an incubator of projects again for different types of asset classes that are under HECO chain. With Injective, you are growing its network of powerful dapps and assets for different purposes.

Ocean Protocol---> I am impressed with the resiliency of this protocol because aside from protecting their value of the recent hacks, they immediately rose from it and are going back again with serving the data needed for validating transactions or data that are needed by companies. If you may not know, they are having BDP protocol as well.

Conflux---> Another integrator of cross-chained assets and cross-chained derivatives with INJ

Marlin Protocol---> I have seen this protocol project that was just listed currently on Binance exchange. If you know Layer 1 of ETH, this is for Layer 0 since we are always looking for the Arrays. They are the one who solved what is not being solved on the Layer 1 chain which is higher scalability and throughput.

Covalent---> A blockchain API for crypto projects so that people can see the on-chain data which is very important in terms of investor sentiments, insights, and biases for the trade.

Last February, our great CEO Eric is with blockchain week on Binance wherein he talked about the different questions about INJ and its comparisons with others and why are they the first to have these derivatives and other synthetics trading as well. You may see their video here!

A. Equinox Staking

Noong nakaraang buwan, sinimulan nito ang pagsisimula ng Equinox Staking testnet.

Upang maiikot ka sa mga nagsisimula pa lamang matuklasan o unang pagkakataon na malaman ang Injective protocol at ang katutubong token na INJ, ang Equinox staking na ito ay ginagawa para sa mga nais maging validator / node runners at delegators sa Injective Protocol's paglago, seguridad at katalista ng pamayanan para sa malawak na pag-aampon. Baseline APY boost ---> Kapag sinabi naming Baseline APY, ito ay magiging karagdagan sa kung ano ang iyong kikita at kailangan mong gawin ang ilang mga gawain tungkol dito. Tulad ng paglilipat ng isang $ INJ token sa isang validator. Ang baseline APY na ito ay halos 3%
I-claim at muling itaya ang iyong mga gantimpala / boost boosting boost ---> Ito ay isa sa isa pang bagay na kapana-panabik sa INJ token staking. Isinasaalang-alang nila ang lakas ng pagsasama rin para sa kanilang mga staker. Alin ang isang mabuting bagay! Dahil ito ay nagtuturo sa atin na mag-compound at muling mamuhunan kung ano ang kinikita upang tumubo ito nang higit pa. B. Mga Nangungunang Validator na Sumali sa Equinox Staking

---> Bukod sa mga indibidwal na lalahok sa staking, magkakaroon din ng mga malalaking oras ng pangalan sa puwang ng crypto na sasali at susubukan din ang Equinox staking! Ang lahat sa kanila ay nakakakuha ng bilyun-bilyong halaga ng mga digital na assets tulad ng: Cosmos, Band Protocol, Elrond, Terra, at Solana.
