Twins? … A blessing #1

Last year, 24 years after being blessed with the arrival of Gabo, my beautiful and talented grandson, I received good news again, this time the blessing was double, two beautiful babies! Catherine and Stephanie.

I tell you that both came to this world without breaking their respective amniotic membrane. My daughter-in-law says that she heard exclamations of admiration from her doctor and paramedical personnel, because although it seems simple, it is uncommon, it is like seeing the baby inside the uterus of the mother, in my country, Venezuela says that "Enmantllado was born", which is, according to traditional belief, not only here, but ancestrally, and in many countries of the world, a good omen for the baby.

Personally, I think so, my granddaughters have been blessed at birth, first by God, then by having as loving parents dedicated to my son and daughter-in-law, who fought hard to conceive them, to have an older brother they will be proud of for their great talent, for their grandparents, who simply rave about love for them, as well as the rest of the family.

A wonderful blessing that life gives us and that speaks of faith in God, in Science and in themselves. Here are our twins or, as we say here, "morochitas", two miracles of life that illuminate our hearts.

Mellizas?… Una bendición # 1

El año pasado, 24 años después de haber sido bendecida con la llegada de Gabo, mi hermoso y talentoso nieto, recibí buenas noticias de nuevo, esta vez la bendición fue doble, ¡dos hermosas bebés! Catherine y Stephanie.

Les cuento que ambos vinieron a este mundo sin romper sus respectivas membranas amnióticas. Mi nuera dice que escuchó exclamaciones de admiración de su médico y personal paramédico, porque aunque parezca simple, es poco común, es como ver al bebé dentro del útero de la madre, en mi país, Venezuela se dice que "Nació Emantillado", que es, según la creencia tradicional, no solo aquí, sino ancestralmente, y en muchos países del mundo, un buen augurio para el bebé.

Personalmente, creo que sí, mis nietas han sido bendecidas al nacer, primero por Dios, luego al tener como padres amorosos dedicados a mi hijo y mi nuera, que lucharon arduamente para concebirlos, por tener un hermano mayor que será su orgulloso por su gran talento, por sus abuelos, quienes simplemente se derriten de amor por ellas, así como el resto de la familia.

Una maravillosa bendición que la vida nos da y que habla de la fe en Dios, en la Ciencia y en sí mismos. Aquí están nuestros Mellizas, o como decimos aquí, "morochitas", dos milagros de vida que iluminan nuestros corazones.
