I can't describe the feeling I am left after reading this. Maybe somewhere along the lines of upset and disappointed, and sadly, nowhere near shocked or surprised. Most of us can help the environment by even simple decisions at home and trying to avoid plastic; but most of us still do not. It is sad to think that most people do not care enough about the future of our world. Comfort first and screw the future.

It is not surprising that with such apathy, the world is heading where it is heading. Thankfully, we also have activists like you who help us protect our environment. We need to join forces and create a change on a much bigger scale. Money can buy a lot of people and can have such devastating projects; but in the end a lot of us have much more power than we think we do. This post was very enlightening. I am sorry for the situation of North Dakota; and I thank you and all the activists out there who are trying to make a positive change in the world.
