Why do we spend excessive during economic growth?
While consumption is increasing, the saving rate in comparison with 2009 is lower by as much as a quarter.
By providing cheap money, central banks have stimulated optimism, which is reflected in increased spending and also by higher economic growth. As indicated by the slippage of stock indices in the first half of October this year, it makes sense to prepare for the future, and spend a portion of today's spending on saving, as we know exactly what is ahead of us.
Drugged society cares more about getting a tan on a sunny day or guzzling a 6 pack while watching football on TV. Everyone is holding their hands over their ears when warned of such things, things which are inevitable. Some will listen. Most will suffer greatly. And the leaders that know of these things to come continue destructive practices in deception, with no concern whatsoever for the death and suffering which will be brought about by their sins.
The long-term growth in the value of shares has caused great optimism, but it can also be exaggerated. Excessive optimism in the financial world quickly leads to the fact that investors react to the news more turbulently than they would otherwise. We could say that investors have developed a long running bullish trend and are therefore they are even more nervous while bad information comes out.
In the real economy, excessive optimism is reflected in increased consumption and neglect of savings. For example, last year's Bankrate's Financial Security Index in the US showed frightening data that in the US one third of the population does not have any saved funds, while the other third saves only up to a thousand dollars. Due to excessive optimism about the personal economic situation and the state of the economy, people often forget to look at the future and prepare for it, which could be done by saving.
But do not forget, that it's possible for many world currencies to lose its value after next financial crash. So the best kind of financial reserve would be silver and/or gold. The one you can hold, not the one you have on your trading account.
