Sadly, you seem not to be aware of recent revelations regarding how every institution you can name, from government, schools, churches, NGOs, and other entities, are used to enable abusers to gain access to vulnerable populations and gain authority over them in order to facilitate abuse.
Are you unaware of abuses of elderly people in nursing homes? Of children in foster care? Of the UN and NGOs using aid supplies as payment for sexual abuse?
Institutions that separate people from their loving families are vectors for abusers. All of them.
All the land and wealth owned by such institutions are weapons against our children, our elderly, and all free people, including every church, school, and government. Despite the appearance of such information only lately, this is not a new situation, but one that has been the foundational reason for institutions since the dawn of history. What has changed is the ability of this information to be disseminated.
We can tell each other around the world the facts we possess, and that information is no longer controlled by institutions. The rat of institutional power is backed against a wall, and lashes out with rage. We are being censored, mis- and disinformed, and propagadized with extreme prejudice wherever institutional controls apply, yet as technology continues to increase our ability to speak freely, that control dissipates, and will eventually utterly fail.
We will be free, and collectivist power, such as is wielded by the Church, will be vanquished. The wealth and lands you refer to are but temporarily out of our hands due to institutional power and will be lost by those institutions as they lose that power.

The father-in-law of a friend of mine was physically abused in a long term care facility 😕.
Who knows what the solution is for preventing or at least minimizing the tendency some people have for committing human rights abuses all over the world, to individuals of all ages, in every social and financial strata.
We all have a dark side (or a shadow, as Jung refers to it).
Perhaps the next key to human evolution is the adoption of a need to actualize a higher sense of self; accomplished and self-acknowledged as the direct result of regulating the shadow self, as such bearing a higher benefit to the individual than whatever immediate gratification is realized by the individual were they to act out a maliciously predatory act against another.
