Wikileaks showed us that the DNC colluded to derail the Sanders campaign, it's plain to see. That Bernie Sanders is now repeating the Russian election interference msm narrative is revolting.

I distinctly remember Chris Hedges refusing to support Sanders unless he went 3rd party which, considering Bernie's popularity in 2016, would have broken new ground for creating an alternative to the Coke vs Pepsi puppet show. It was really disappointing to see Bernie dismiss running as an independent, who knows how much ground may have been gained at this point in time. (He may have even become president).

But this also reminds me of Hedge's "Empire of Illusion" where we're just spectators in a WWE fake wrestling reality show. I can't help but see Bernie as a character to give us hope but the script was already written and it would never come to pass.

Thus the betrayal by Bernie Sanders of the same public who he sold the dream of grassroots-change is doubly poisonous.

We're constantly being fed false hope - Obama / Trump / Bernie ...
This is part of the playbook as I see it. A way for people to let off their frustration with the status quo, channeled through these charlatans. And a way for the establishment to let off some steam before the unrest in society boils over into real action in the streets.
