Using Ceddit.com you can see how many posts /r/bitcoin censors!! And how to see censorship on other subreddits.

You may or may not be aware of this, but /r/bitcoin on reddit constantly censors things.The moderators of /r/bitcoin are what you might called "bitcoin fanatics" who want to control the flow of information on "their subreddit". Since they are in charge of it, what they say goes and it is definitely not a platform for discussing negative things related to bitcoin(in general they delete negative stuff if they see it get to their front page). Reddit is a centralized forum where mods of a given subreddit can do whatever they want. Particularly in /r/bitcoin, they take it to the extreme.

Look at all of the stuff with red highlight(it may take 30 seconds to load red highlighted posts), those are all the posts that are deleted. Sure you may agree that some of these don't belong there and what not(but that is what the downvote is for). Using the downvote by a few people on a spam post will just make it so the post doesn't show up if people don't like it there, no real need to censor all this stuff.

This works for any subreddit, simply replace the "/r/bitcoin" with "/r/whatever"

You can see how /r/politics remove a lot of Pro Republican stuff from there if you want to. Why do subreddits censor content one might ask? Hmm, easy one, because they can! THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT, CENTRALIZED GROUPS WHO HAVE POWER WILL USE IT FOR THEIR OWN ADVANTAGE!!! The people running it have their own bias, which in this case most of you redditors know /r/politics and /r/news and /r/worldnews are strictly run by ULTRA-LEFT fanatics who try to control the flow of information. Reddit mainly is frequented by leftists and radical leftists. They routinely ban/censor/delete/shadowban/harass/target anything that isn't that.

Any censorship by any side of the political spectrum is not good. Having arguments/debates/being able to express ideas is key in having a more harmonious society. Centralized groups are not interested in having a better society, rather they are interested in gaining more power. Decentralization is one of the best ways to fight back against this.

Overall, reddit as a platform will become less and less relevant, as people see a new decentralized social media/forum/blogging/video/streaming platform like Steemit/Dtube exists, and you can actually get some cryptocurrency for your efforts while at the same time NOT BEING BANNED! Isn't life great? When the authoritarians on any side try to close in on us all, censor on youtube/google/reddit/facebook/twitter, some smarter people just go ahead and develop steemit and cryptocurrency to regain freedom.
