Bet that headline got your attention, fear not, it is not me making this absurd claim. None other than the good ole "gas lighting" Washington Post who almost a year ago said the above ^
Let's real quick break down that sentence....
They seem like a "novelty".... Notice how they use a flowery sounding word here, novelty. Antifa was a communist movement that used domestic and political terrorism just like the Nazis did. There is nothing "novel" or flowery about what they do or stand for. Antifa are pathetic whelps who organize into a group to cause terror because they are too dumb and too stupid to understand how to use words/logic/arguments/facts/data/reason. Using violence to get power is what they aim to achieve.
"maybe we should start listening to them". Why yes, let's just 'start listening' to people whose foundation is built upon killing/attacking those who disagree with them. Thanks Washington Post for legitimizing violence on a national stage and further proving the Democrat party is the party of violence. The Democrats have always had an image problem, could be due to the fact they went to war against the Republican President Lincoln(partly to keep their slaves), the fact that they created Jim Crow laws(Southern Dixie Democrats), and also the infamous KKK which was the domestic terrorist wing of the Democrat party
The Washington Post goes on to basically "read Trump's mind" in the article, strawmanning everything as much as they can get away with, and generally lie to their readers. They continue to try to equate Trump to being Hitler and that Trump likes Nazis(despite no one in the press ever saying anything like that for his 40 years as a super star billionaire constantly in the news).

Back to the Washington Post article... The author is sympathetic to the Communist Antifa...

OHHHH you mean like how the Portland Oregon Antifa group just had a hundreds vs hundreds street brawl with a prayer group????
No, no we shouldn't listen to Antifa or other radical groups. We should jail people who cause harm/violence/riots/murder people, and for a long time. What we should do is move forward with logic/reason/evidence/facts/analysis/data/truth/honesty and value learning from one another so that we can find the truth.

Yup, whether it is Attention Hogg or Families Together or Vagina Hat Muslim women's march it is all funded by Soros, the Unions and the DNC. I actually have a personal beef with ANTIFA,,,, They stole my damn look!
My whole life in the North East wearing black clothes and bandanna was the style of badasses and bikers. The whole metal head community dressed this way and has since the 70s. Now we all have to buy new clothes! I'm thinking of plaid and a trucker hat nowadays, could be that I'm just getting old though.

Excellent post. The Washington Post has become the propaganda arm of its owner Jeff Bezos. You have a very detailed analysis about the consequences of legitimizing Antifa.
Robert Byrd fortunately lived long enough to publicly renounce his formerly racist views. He kept a copy of the constitution in his pocket and became a mentor to Obama. Clearly Byrd was a flawed man and a product of his upbringing, but he also symbolizes hope that people can renounce views that they had held for decades.

If we listen to Antifa (which I guess autocorrect feels is important enough to capitalize) then we can gather all the evidence we need to declare them a terrorist group, using or advocating violence for political ends is the definition of terrorism.
