We recently posted an article about how the community is now requesting for Mark Zuckerberg to step down as CEO from Facebook! That's unlikely to happen. They (Government, lobbyists and Facebook Co.) will reach common ground about regulations. But if Facebook, that pretty much holds the de facto monopoly of social media (by number of users) proposes regulations there will be likely some of the proposals that would damage alternate social media platforms.
That's the main reason of my post. Facebook could push their social media monopoly by doing that.
