The true time of the defeat of the nazi... it was the rescue of the fascists in greece.

All the time, the east boasts, the west boast, both pretend to have won, but the reality is that it may have been a self inflicted defeat. How? Simple, before launching the operations to take on soviet union, the nazi leader decided it was better to rescue the italian fascists which were losing in greece (hills on islands what an idea).

This little rescue mission costed 3 weeks, the 3 weeks that will later on be missing, and allow the winter to win. On the other hand it's easy to say that it was that... but I think it really was... once this mistake was done it was too late to correct it but to wait one full cycle... and even now I am not sure of that.

At least it seems to be a better explanations that the "winner writes history" that is being pissed left and right.

The conclusion is that timing is EVERYTHING... what a news :) and there is no way to regain time.

ps. it's not an endorsement or a fact, just a little interesting consideration that I saw recently on the TimeVampire :) and more probably one of the key mistake that lead to more mistakes.

and a question, did they reached baku? Or failed all along to follow their own objectives? that's not clear yet.
