Yeah... many of us here 'know' the masses will embrace their own demise...Sad, but true.

Easiest way to silence a dissenting voice? cut off their money. Show your daughter what they are doing in China, it may help to change her mind a little, possibly.
They cut off anybodies credit/bank account and even black list their phone, if they make a noise against the rulers. What they're doing in China is similar to a Dark Mirror episode she told me about. So maybe there's hope for her yet.
