Hate to say it but, Lincoln did not "free" the slaves. With the passing of the 14th Amendment, a new form of slavery was created for people of all skin colors. Debt slavery. Slavery never went away. They just replaced the whip-cracks with debt/bills, which keep the hamsters on their wheels. I sure hope I do not have to elaborate further. Decentralization has not put an end to it, either, it has just created a pyramid within the pyramid. Slavery will not end until all labor is automated and abundance is created in a sustainable way as to no longer have a need for money/currency. Have a good one!
indentured servitude existed before slavery as well and never went away. It's not about what people let us do, it's about taking our money and power that has been systematically stolen over the course of thousands of years back and reinvesting it into the people at large.
Your are right, decentralization just brings in a different group of players.
Right? Some of those "players" might even be the same "players". Anyone down for a game of Monopoly with the version of the Monopoly Man that actually has the goddamn monocle??? :p
I feel like I mentioned debt-slavery, but maybe that's just because I've talked about it so much in the past.
Irrelevant if the systems of control are still centralized to create artificial scarcity.
We don't need automation as much as we need decentralized ownership.
But Yeah I still agree with you 99%.
And yes, you did mention debt slavery. Thanks.
Yeah, I think this dimension is just simply.......... irrelevant. Who cares? Fuck me over with wars that are waged for profit, so that I may die and be so consciously aware of my death as to allow for me to escape the cycle of reincarnation. This place, this "Earth", is Hell to me. I don't ever get what I really want, in spite of my effort. Might as well "jack off" 24/7 and call it, "Good".
