Yep, coming here too. The escalation will snowball. By 2050, Britain will be "Carbon Neutral" - Which probably means taxation and or banning all Fossil fuel based burning from, Vehicles to house heating......
Could be a very ambitious plan and will certainly please big 'green' companies....
I keep thinking of that Dr. Who episode called The Sunmakers. It was one of the 4th Doctor's (Tom Baker) episodes. It's the one about all the taxes people had to pay that started with the guy who wanted to jump off the roof because he couldn't pay all the taxes.
