When times change, yet we can’t adjust
Progression backwards, a dangerous lust
Technology replacing our outward soul
A press of a button that leave a hole
Politics and music with no meaning
A depressing world, in need of cleaning
Emotions disposable, like a paper cup
Soon it’s done and humanity finally gives up
Lessons learnt, no longer heard
Visions show our future burnt
Fight with hate, destroyed at a press
That button that leaves a mighty mess
Some things are worth fighting for
This is not how to fight an honourable war
Perhaps my dust will just float away
