The Continent Africa is lucky to have been endowed with numerous natural resources in most parts of its landmarks. Consider Nigeria, Algeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Zimbabwe and many other Countries which have a lot of natural resources such as: oil, gold, bauxite, timber, cocoa and the rest. In spite of all these, in most of the African Countries, their Economy are collapsing every now and then. There are a lot of factors leading to this economic meltdown of Africa.

There are increasingly a lot of wars and protests hitting most Countries in Africa. If you watch the various news updates, not a single day that you would find peace haven prevailed in Africa in general. Among the countries and the people living together had not being able to build cohesion among themselves. There had been an incidence of war upon wars and protests which had caused a lot of havoc, destroying many resources which had been used to develop various nations in Africa.

There hadn't been any smoke without fire. So, there is the cause for all these protests and wars hitting various parts of Africa. There had been a lot of what I would put it as "Dirty Politics," on the part of our African Leaders pardon me to use that phrase. Only few of these Leaders are able to think deeply and being faithful in their promises. Many of these Leaders make fake and unrealistic promises. Many of them because of greediness and post consciousness they become power drunk to the extent that they wouldn't want their people to come and enjoy some of these positions.

The worse part of this is that, these Leaders misappropriate the nation's funds and other property that could've been used to develop the economy. When some of these things happen, some of the things that the citizens be benefitted from such as: the right to employment, the right to education, the right to best roads acessibility, the right to good transportation systems, the right to quality health delivery, the right to adequate power source provision , the right to good communications system, such as internet and network provision, the right to good housing or accommodation system; and many rights that suppose to be enjoyed by the citizen would be lacking. When citizens are denied of their rights, freedom and liberty, that is where protests or wars trigger.

It is the right of the citizen to vote for you into power, and when you are voted for, as a Leader, it is your responsibility to provide for the of the citizen. That is what most of the Leaders in most of Afeican Countries are not trying. They would deliver all their campaign messages beautifully, but when they are chosen based on their campaign messages, they fail to honour their promises. That is why protests or wars aren't able to be resolved. Always there is a friction between the citizens and their Leaders, and this bone of contension can't be settled not until the Leaders decide to do the right things.

What annoys these African citizens most is to join a long queue from early dawn till evening to cast his or her vote for you the leader. Upon these suffering, then you ignore his basic needs or rights. For some people are incidentally die or lose their lives in the course of elections, maybe through violences which may occur during the elections. Sometimes, these citizens show some passions and love to the kind of party that they are interested and want to vote for. Look at the kind of enthusiasm that these people show, they walk several miles to campaign for their party irrespective of what they would achieve by the end of the day. But what reward do these people gain? I bet you, some people are from a very remote area difficult for them to be located in that Country , meanwhile, because of love they have they would foot many distances from their village to vote for you the Leader. So, if you fail to honour your promises to him, it brings curse on you too. And that's I said "politics is a dirty game!"
