EX MINISTRO DE CHAVEZ - NERVIS VILLALOBOS ARRESTED IN MADRID IN AN OPERATION AGAINST MONEY LAUNDERING

in #informationwar6 years ago

The Venezuelan exviceministro of Electric Power of the Chavista regime, Nervis Villalobos, is about to appear before the investigating judge after being arrested yesterday in Madrid again by the Central Brigade of Investigation of Money Laundering of the National Police. His arrest for the second time is related to an operation in which he has acted against an organization of money laundering from corruption offenses in Venezuela, according to research sources. Three other people have been arrested along with him, the most important being Luis Fernando Vuteff García, son-in-law of Venezuelan opponent Antonio Ledezma.

Nervis Villalobos is attributed the waste of millions of dollars in unfinished works and others not executed during the mandate of former President Hugo Chávez. Once "outside" of the top executive, the former Minister of Electric Power harvested a network of corruption in which he embraced more than 27 million dollars in tax havens.

Nervis Gerardo Villalobos Cárdenas is not any Venezuelan, and much less is close to being a 'common' citizen. The specialist in Electric Energy leads a long episode of corruption that has led him to headlines of local and international media.
And, although his actions took some by surprise, there are those who affirm that this engineer's behavior was to be expected. This is considered by the former Vice Minister of Energy and Mines Víctor Poleo, who describes him as an expert in "power point sheets", because in his opinion Villalobos never had talent or ethics, only cunning to insert himself skillfully into the system.

Nervis Gerardo Villalobos Cárdenas exhibits attractive titles in his social networks and website: Electrical Engineer graduated from the Universidad del Zulia in 1990 with a specialization in the area of Electrical Systems Planning from the University of Chicago in 1993, and a specialization in Planning Energy Integrated in the International Energy Agency of Paris, France in 1997; both preparations being a training process that was financed by the company Energía Eléctrica de Venezuela (Enelven), one of the longest and most efficient companies in the electricity sector, where Villalobos began its professional development.

An ex-manager of the company, who preferred to keep his name under anonymity, explains to Clímax that Nervis began working at the Enelven facilities in the nineties, and initially worked in the area of Cargo Dispatch, a technical space where the transmission systems were evaluated.

Nervis had power over the administration of funds, irregularities arose. Lara Guarenas recalls that the electricity companies allocated a budget to Villalobos to develop a campaign to raise awareness of the approaching electricity crisis. The project was never carried out and the money disappeared. "They were like 11 billion to do a campaign on how to save energy, minimize the use of Guri. No jingle came out and neither did the money. "

n 2003, after the collection of signatures for the recall referendum against the then President Hugo Chávez, Nervis Villalobos was one of those responsible for applying the famous Tascón list. "They fired the best engineers that were in Enelven. He personally directed the dismissals.

The investigations that the United States and Spain have carried out reveal that Nervis Villalobos, during his stay at the state oil company, charged millionaire commissions and bribes to get foreign companies tenders and contracts with the Venezuelan oil company; money that would later be laundered in an account in the Principality of Andorra.

Nervis Villalobos left the Soto del Real prison on September 14 after the United States requested his extradition in October of 2017 for his relationship with a supposed money laundering of seven million dollars he received from Miami.

Operation Carabela is coordinated by the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office and directed by the 41st Court of Madrid. In it, the Department of National Security of the United States collaborates.

In the Carabela operation, a lawyer has also been captured and more than 130 properties have been seized in Madrid and Marbella valued at more than 72 million euros. Vuteff has Argentine nationality and is the partner of Antonietta Ledezma Capriles, daughter of the former mayor and his wife Mitzy, and has been the most active family figure in the defense of his father's cause.

The Argentine is the administrator of the capital manager ColumbusOne, domiciled in Orellana Street in Madrid, which provided money laundering services to former PDVSA employees and contractors from Spain through real estate and hotel investments. In January of this year, Vuteff and the daughter of Ledezma registered the Crecer sin Fronteras Foundation in Madrid with an initial contribution of 30 thousand euros destined to assist the children of migrant families in Spain.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg ... They imagine that the Cuban murderous communist narcotics will fall in Venezuela ... Do not fuck records everywhere! That is why it is not convenient for them to drop that pod, because if they fall a few more later they drag the others ...
