There's a reason we're called "the right" ...you libby socialists and Commie wannabees!!...

BECAUSE WE ARE RIGHT!! That's the simple answer, but the reasons why we are right are more extensive and involved. Although we are talking about the United States, if we go back to the origins of the term, we must go all the way back to the French Revolution, and the period of the famous "Tennis Court Oath" and the alignment at that time of the seating of the ancien régime of France. Politics is more correctly described as a circle, with libertine libertarians and snow-flaky liberals typically described as being "on the left," often times rubbing shoulders with stodgy conservative patriots who adhere to the original intent of the founding documents of America. BOTH believe strongly in individual liberty and the supremacy of the individual in the political process, at the expense of all the various types of elites that have dominated governments throughout history. Also, a good deal of the founding documents of America were influenced (but in nuanced ways) by the same types of people who sparked the revolution in France.

The major difference between the way France evolved after their bloodbath revolution (that killed mostly their own people) and the way the United States developed (after killing just enough overseas enforcers of tyranny) is on the emphasis that libertines (of France) put on liberty ALONE and the supremacy of man's own intellect, versus the God-honoring liberty AND RESPONSIBILITY tenets that America's founders pursued. As a result, the French ended up burning out their revolution and returning to tyranny within the space of just a few years.

A bit later, beginning in 1848, when the Marxists attempted their first revolutions across Europe, those also failed miserably. The longest-lasting Communist Revolution to date has been China, which, though nominally economically successful, has resulted in a horrific death toll upon the people of China (some estimates range higher then a hundred million) and that has left most Chinese still desperately poor and forced to work grueling hours in sweat shops in order to make any type of personal economic progress.

Russia's Revolution of 1914 sort of lasted a couple years longer than the Chinese revolution under Mao to date, but that ended in notorious failure, and the Chinese show know signs of imminent collapse. This could be a factor of the innate Chinese group psyche, which has been characterized by thousands of years of ingrained submission to tyranny, and periodic brutal famines that have placed an institutional memory in the people that they must depend on government for physical survival. The Russians had a couple centuries of serfdom, to be sure, but there were neither the brutal repressions in Russia of the worst of the Chinese regimes nor the severity of famines to temper Russian attitudes.

The USA is still young, but while we kept the "right" approach to government--i.e. personal liberty counter-balanced by personal responsibility and a belief in a sovereign God and His precepts--we were the most powerful and successful nation on the planet. It was the RIGHT way for a nation built on rugged individualism to go, and is still the RIGHT way if the leftist/Communist influences that have now largely taken over the nation can be dealt a major setback.

We are right about the importance of national UNITY...not some faerie tale notion of "strength through diversity." We are RIGHT to honor God and his sovereignty and His revealed laws and suggestions for the proper alignment of human relations, instead of the faerie tale notion of Humanism and the "supremacy of human reason." We are right about the sanctity of human life and decency, in the face of a death culture built upon abortion and very unhealthy human sexual "preferences." Yes, the right is routinely RIGHT, and the younger generations born after the Communist infiltrations of the American education system (roughly those born after 1980) had better start honoring their elders and studying history. What the left claims to adorn themselves with is the notion of "social justice" and "fairness," but what they are really supporting is tyrannical government redistribution of wealth. Many lefty do-gooders don't even understand how their policies wind up crushing the elderly and working poor, and how they are sentencing the USA to a violent and catastrophic end of all their built up social welfare programs.

You can not bleed a turnip, indefinitely. The middle class of America is the SOLE bulwark against brutal Soviet/Mao-style repression here in America. The lefties under forty just don't have the historical understanding of what their actions are bringing to life, and they'd better figure it out quickly. If the Middle Class is ended, the elite will destroy everyone else afterward. It will be less than a generation after the Constitution is eliminated, or reconstructed, and quite likely irreversible.

Once liberty is extinguished globally (or placed at the discretion of a global government) it may never be available again, and the resulting cost in terms of human lives...as the Communist, NWO-style, United-Nations supporting ill-informed elites, internationally and in the halls of American academia, are noted Malthusians who want 90% of the world's population eliminated....FOR REAL. Yes, the stakes are that high, and the other side (including that element of the left) IS TRULY THAT INSANE.

Sort:

Well, the government just need give the people privileged to make their own decisions and follow through. They can even take advice and change their opinion over something that the population do not agree to. Cause here in my Country the Government do what pleases only.

Here, the elite preserve the facade of "democracy" just strongly enough to keep the people from revolting--until the time of the eltie's own choosing, whenever that may be.
