CPS in West Virginia Failed to DO THEIR JOB 50% of the Time in 2018.

As if this could come as any surprise to those who have actually looked into the real issues and problems with the whole "child protective" "services" (CPS) milieu over the past 20-30 years. Still, a woeful failure ratio of 50% is remarkable, and deserves a full exposure.

Here is a key excerpt from the link above:

“'Based on the numbers provided by the Bureau for Children and Families for federal fiscal year 2018, CPS only met the required time frame approximately 50% of the time,' the audit said. The audit did not share when case workers, on average, were able to investigate abuse reports after missing the appropriate time frame.

Sam Hickman, executive director of the West Virginia chapter of the National Association of Social Workers, called the audit findings 'dramatic,' but emphasized the report 'didn’t tell the whole picture.'..

A 2014 legislative audit reported a response rate of only 33% for face-to-face contact with the alleged victim within 14 days. The new audit recommended that the DHHR submit an improvement plan to the Legislative Auditor’s Office by April 1.

'It is imperative that CPS further address this issue by determining the specific causes for not meeting the statutory requirements and develop and implement a plan to increase its effectiveness in meeting such time frames,' the audit said."

Of course, the article goes on to talk about all the (boo hoo) "reasons" for this level of incompetence. Of course, the biggest problem, they say, is that taxpayers haven't been forking over enough of their hard-earned money to support these case workers who don't do their job. The articles cites all the "reasons" why they have a 27% staff turnover, and why they can't find, hire and keep decent employees.

The truth, of course, is more obvious. The "job" is inherently evil, in that the entire system behind it is designed to ABUSE children and families, and especially parental rights. More and more West Virginians understand this, and many understand that West Virginia would be better off if CPS didn't exist at all. There is no admission in the article about the systemic evils and associated problems with CPS that are INSTITUTIONALIZED and apparently immutable.

Everything is always the fault of "those greedy taxpayers" who often can barely feed themselves with all of the taxes, fees, inflation, insurances, etc, etc., and never the fault of the CPS system itself which should simply be ABOLISHED.

Sure, there are occasionally legitimate emergencies. However, that is what the State Police, County Sheriffs, etc., are there for. Why do we need another PROVEN FAILURE agency eking out the wealth of the nation, and serving as the primary recruitment source for the international billionaire pedophile elites?

ABOLISH CPS, West Virginia!...They are only doing their jobs half the time anyway.

Sort:

I once lived in West Virginia. That is sad.

It sure is, Joey, and I'm sure West Virginia is not alone in this regard.

It's so pathetic there that the legislature should start talking about abolishment!

Indeed so. How far did that bill in Texas get?

I have no idea and don't even know where to look.

I'll check it out...
