The Saudi purge of arrests last fall was shocking.
I still cannot believe how poorly that was covered by USA mainstream news.

Makes sense. There is always some of that.
Interesting though that such major money players got pushed on so hard supposedly. Time will hopefully tell.
Are you referring to the "anti-corruption campaign"? I think this really was a power grab. It was just so blatant that the financial press couldn't spin it as an "anti-corruption campaign" but found a justification in its effect of the "shoring up" fiscal solvency of the kingdom.
