Localism: Emerging trend for 2020 as seen by the crackdown on the 2nd Amendment in Virginia and ElsewheresteemCreated with Sketch.

Hi folks,

I just wanted to make a quick post about a hot topic of late, namely the full-blown assault on the 2nd Amendment that has been taking place in the United States in the past few years; it is really starting to pick-up steam, particularly in the state of Virginia, one of the original founding colonies of the republic.

Here's an interesting graph to give you an overview of the current situation regarding "2nd Amendment Sanctuary Cities":

The situation has really come to the forefront in late 2019 and early 2020 - especially in that state of Virginia.

And in the following map, you can see that the overwhelming majority of counties in the state have adopted such resolutions (as seen for those in green or dark green colors):

There is an excellent summary of what exactly has been happening in the state of Virginia (particularly with the Democrats taking a majority control of the House) by a very gifted writer named Daisy Luther from the Organic Prepper Blog. Here is a link to this, must read, article:

The bulk of what you need to know can be obtained from either that article above, or from the following video (from SGTReport entitled MEET THE PQTRIOTS):

The gentlemen in the video really lays out what has been happening and backs it all up with sound facts and evidence.

For another, broader and more far-reaching, perspective on this issue, I'd also recommend the following article from another prolific writer name Mike Krieger from LibertyBlitzkrieg.com:

In the article, he lays out the broader trend that seems to be fomenting not only in the United States, but also around the world. And I personally think it will gain a lot of steam in 2020 and beyond.

Although the author seems to doubt the legality of some of the actions taken by people in these sanctuary cities, I tend to think they are rather on the right side of the law, especially as the related issues pertain to the Supreme Law of the Land, namely the Constitution.

For more on the Constitution, I'd invite you all to explore the remarkable work of a constitutional lawyer named John W. Whitehead from The Rutherford Institute:

As citizens all around the world continue to be stripped of their basic rights, we need to learn from what is currently happening in places like Virginia.

The implications will be grand and, collectively, we do have to find a way to break free from the tyranny of government and the ruling elite.

Our collective power is tremendous, but it will require us to get off our lazy asses and get involved like the patriots we see in Virginia and other 2nd Amendment Sanctuary Cities.

God Bless.

Sort:

When you say Second Amendment Sanctuary Cities, does that mean Gun-Free Zones? Well, that is scary. We should always try to reduce Gun-Free Zones, the Sanctuary Cities, the Open Borders, etc.

When you say Second Amendment Sanctuary Cities, does that mean Gun-Free Zones?

No. It means that citizens in those counties will keep their guns and not be subject to any seizure of them, as their respective counties have passed resolutions to protect their 2nd Amendment rights (to bear arms) despite recent laws enacted by the [Democrat-controlled] Virginia House which contradict the Supreme Law (the Constitution).

And, according to my understanding of the law, sheriffs in those counties (and all across the US) have ULTIMATE AUTHORITY over their respective jurisdictions that would override any request or action taken by a National Guard or Federal Government enforcement agent.

That Map:

In that case, we need more places like that. It looks like, according to that map, these 2A sanctuary cities or regions or counties are pretty rare at less than like 10% of the United States, am I right?

Sanctuary Twist

So, I was triggered by that term, "Sanctuary City," and inverted what you were saying. I understand what you mean now. We have to do what we can to protect sheriffs. Globalists and others are trying to murder the sheriffs. That is one of their plans.

Evil United Nations

The United Nations are trying to hire foreigners in their attempt to steal guns and firearms and everything from people in the USA. After that, they will try to away our water, etc.

Marshall Law

They want us to react with violence so that they can enact Marshall Law and/or whatever else as an excuse to say that we are like a bad Iranian militia or a bunch of terrorists, etc.

Non-Violently Engaged

We have to be engaged politically, culturally, online, offline, locally, as much as possible, each one of us, before it is too late, if we want to impact the course of course, the course of our future. That is what I try to do each day.
