RE: There Is No Middle Ground On Transgender Rights
So how is that a justification for fearmongering about transgender people in the bathroom?
Pretending you know anything about where other people live, then saying you have authority to correctly fearmonger about transgender people because you live in a horrible area doesn't actually say a thing towards justifying fearmongering on any transgender issue.
It actually sounds like an argument for gender neutral bathrooms, so any parent can can guard any child (regardless of gender) in the bathroom.
Nothing about that justifies fearing if the person in the bathroom might be (or ever have been) equipped with a penis.
"So how is that a justification for fearmongering about transgender people in the bathroom?"
You can call it fearmongering, but parents should feel free to express their concerns especially when it involves a child. Do I think all Transgender people are rapists or pedos? No. I do believe that some people are bad in this world and judging from my own experiences you can't just trust random people on the street, no matter if they are transgender people or not.
If people have concerns over that, then let them express it.
I support gender-neutral bathrooms, especially if they are private rooms. That would be a fair middle ground for everybody to stop bitching about.
Again, it's not about having or not having a penis, it's about being concerned about being unjustly assaulted, or concerned about other people being unjustly assaulted.
Then I guess you don't agree with the person who said "I think the sex of a person matters when a young female child is going to the bathroom with "men"" because that person seemed to be feeding into the idea that there is something specifically concerning about the idea of young people born female using the same bathroom as people born male.
Given those words, and the fact this is a post about transgender issues, it looks like that person was here to argue on that issue.
