Laws and gobernments are necessary

When we hear the word freedom many associate it with not being accountable to anyone, doing whatever we want and living our lives without anyone stopping us or imposing the things we want to do. This concept of freedom would be very good if all free people acted with conscience acting well and that in no way their actions disturb the tranquility of others. The first is not possible without the second and the second is impossible, so it would be good that there is freedom according to the concept described? The answer is no and today I want to prove it! The nature of the human being

Maybe it has happened to you or you have met someone who says he wants to do something good when he has money knowing that he will receive it in the future, the person speaks in such a way that convinces others to want to do this good that he says however when he receives the money he spends everything and does nothing of what he said he wanted to do. An example of this is a person I know, a father of a family who worked in the oil industry for a while and wasted his earnings on alcohol, after he was unemployed he looked at his children who lacked things and felt remorse because he did not use the money for the welfare of his family. This person repented and wished with all his heart to be able to get another job to give welfare to his family, eventually he gets another job and again spends the money on alcohol.

We could judge that the person is bad, however in his mind wants to do good but in practice does not and this is because our conscience is doing good but in our human nature is doing evil, that's why if we are given the freedom to do whatever we want to do we will end up hurting and harming our fellow man.

Need for laws

To determine the things that an individual can do without harming others and to determine penalties for those whose acts disturb their fellow is necessary the existence of laws and is that freedom is not about doing everything we want in an irresponsible way but in acting as we want to comply with the laws, the opposite of freedom is slavery and is when someone makes decisions for us. Then the law is necessary to prevent society becomes a chaos and fades, that again we return to primitive times where the strongest subjected to others and invasions of territories were common creating continuous wars and killings in the regions. Then it is national and international laws that provide the basis for social stability. But it is not enough for the Law to exist since it is difficult for people to choose to comply with it, so another very important agent comes into play.

Government

To enforce the Law there are governments, entities responsible for ensuring that all citizens fulfill their duties and enjoy their rights. In an ideal world, citizens comply with the law because they know that if they do not do so, there will be unpleasant consequences, some may willingly comply with them, but compliance with the law allows society to be in complete harmony.

I have written this article today because what happens in Venezuela is easy to describe "There is no government. It is true that we have figures in positions of president and governors but those who occupy such positions do not have any concern to enforce the laws, before many have dedicated themselves to squander the goods of the nation making wealth for themselves while the citizens were accustomed to live without taking into account the laws.

As a result we can say that between government and citizens have contributed to the destruction of the national economy, the government because it failed to manage the wealth of the state in favor of citizens and citizens because in the absence of governments to enforce the laws were corrupted in their hearts to become all extemada usura traders because a seller who buys a product at x value then wants to sell in the market to 4x earning even more than the person who produces the product when the law establishes a maximum selling price of 1.3x for a profit of 30%, given that people set the prices they think best and there is no government able to correct this inflation is not going to stop no matter the wage increases they make or the strategies that apply because the main thing that any government must do is to ensure compliance with the laws.

All this is just my way of thinking which I express in the little right to freedom of expression that we still have left.
