Is BTC dead?

in #informationwar6 years ago (edited)

How about friends who make life on this wonderful platform, it is a pleasure to greet you once again with a new article written with much affection for the enjoyment of all of you. This time it is my personal opinion about the current price of the BTC. I've seen a lot of news and people saying that BTC is finished and will not rise again, I'm not an expert on BTC or blockchain but I do have a little common sense which I want to use to give my opinion on the subject.

With respect to the current price of the BTC

I think there is always a point of reference when issuing an opinion and I understand that those who say it is the end of BTC take as a reference the highest price reached last year compared to the current price, if we see it from that point of view we could think a little like them but if we take as a reference the price of 3 years ago compared to the current price would think the same? The truth is we are not going to compare BTC of the past with BTC of today because the prices vary and it is difficult to predict exactly what is going to happen, however there is one thing that we must reason before saying that is the end of BTC and is that when we compare it with any other currency, USD, Euro, Yuan, any other, definitely the BTC is very much who has more value, then how can it be finished? And if a currency with a value of 3800 USD per unit is finished then in what condition are those that are worth less than 1USD or those that are worth less than 10USD? When I think about it this way I see things clearly, it is not the end of BTC, it has lost value but it is not something irrecoverable and is still at the top as a currency of greater value with a galactic advantage over the others.

Profit or loss at current price

This is again something relative, who made his investment in BTC when its value was less than 3000USD is still making profits, who made his investment when the value was greater than 4000USD is making losses, but both are temporary states because we must all be clear about the risks of investing in crypto. However, whoever is having losses with the current price should only maintain their BTC until they have a reasonable price to be changed.

A positive thought

Reading news and opinions on the subject I have come to the conclusion that the BTC still has a lot of future and although this was a bad year compared to last year I think that next year will bring many good things for those of us who stay in this. I have tried to keep my STEEMs by withdrawing only what is necessary to meet my urgent needs because I think we will see good times in the very near future.

interesting view
true - if you cut off the big spike and look in 1 year steps the price is higher then the start price, i remember purchased 2016 around 600
looked it up:

Date USD : 1 BTC
May–June 2016 $450 — $750
July–September 2016 $600 — $630
October–November 2016 $600 — $780
January 2017 $800 — $1,150

That's what I mean, if you buy at that price you're still making huge profits! And I doubt BTC will ever drop below 1000USD again. 😊

Not dead, its just the beginning :)

well said 😎

Those who say that BTC is dead, are the speculators, and it is because they see that their opportunity to speculate disappears.

It is the only reasonable explanation to understand why they say what they say when the reality is very clear.
