Importance of followers and how to get them ๐จโ๐จโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ๐จโ๐จโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ๐จโ๐จโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ๐จโ๐จโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ๐จโ๐จโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ๐จโ๐จโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ๐จโ๐จโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ๐จโ๐จโ๐ฆโ๐ฆ
It is a pleasure to greet you again with another publication whose purpose is to educate a little about the cominidad steem blockchain and in this case I want to write a little about the followers and their importance. Previously I have made it clear that I have little experience in social networks but followers is something that they all have in common and while it is illogical that a person with many followers can give personalized attention to each is a reality that all followers can see and enjoy the published content, in that sense we should look for some definitions of follower and try to evaluate the importance of these in a social network and according to my own experience at the end I will say what is the importance of these in steemblockchain (steemit). Well, let's get started!
The follower
I'm going to define my own concept of follower (for social networks) saying that it is the user who is interested in the content and growth of another user in such a way that he uses this function to be able to be up to date with all his publications and to issue his own opinions that help the main user to grow.
Artists have many followers, however the follower-follower relationship does not imply that they will always interact with each other, in some cases the follower never gets to know the follower however this does not affect the interest of the follower but there are cases in which it happens although due to the number of followers that the artists have it is impossible to interact with everyone personally, their messages on social networks or in public are aimed at everyone in general. In social networks something similar happens or perhaps they were designed to facilitate the work of artists or people with leadership. At this point we must be clear that a person is not famous for the number of followers he has but is followed by being famous and from this point we will start. If the above sounds confusing I will say it another way, a famous person who creates an account in any social network will be able to get a huge amount of followers without any effort because it was already famous before having followers in that network. A non-famous person who gets a lot of followers on a social network won't necessarily become famous for them because of all their followers maybe only 10% or less will be interested in what they do.
Induction tracker
One of the main importance of having followers is that there will be people who will read what you publish and in a sense that gives you importance, even if it is a small percentage there will always be those who read what you publish.
Some desperately seek followers and create the phenomenon that I have called "follower by induction" under the ethical concept "follow me and I follow you", this concept is not based on asking others to follow you as many do here on the platform which is considered spam, it is that a user begins to follow many users, when a user is followed by another can occur an induction that makes him interested in who is following him corresponding in the same way, that is a method of getting followers. However, there are several factors that can make having followers make sense or not depending on the social network in which we are.
However when it comes to socializing with others there is a small inconvenience in this circle of following and being followed. If you have 5000 followers you will be able to communicate with all of them just by publishing an article which everyone will read because they are your followers, this would be the ideal case. But now let's assume that to get 5000 followers you had to follow 10000 assuming that only half you still corresponded to be impossible to really read what they publish 10000 users, in other words when it comes to follow others the very large numbers of followed users make you an inactive follower because you can not attend all those contents. Now suppose that your 5000 followers are not only following you but that each one follows 10000 users just like you. You would have 5000 inactive followers because what is the probability that among their 10000 followers will run into an article of yours? this is a reality that leads us to think that the followers are just a number that appears there and that the only followers that count are those who really interact with us that are usually very few (unless you really have fame and money).
Steemblockchain makes a difference
This characteristic of people following crowds makes many think that the number of followers is irrelevant, however in steem each follower is important, even if the follower never reads your article or if he never supports you with an upward vote.
When a user follows you makes you gain influence, this influence is measured by the sum of SP of all your followers. For this practice a follower with 100 SP (own, not delegated) is equal to 100 followers of 1SP each, however users who have a lot of SP will rarely follow another user. Then have a huge amount of followers to the final if it results in a profit, also remember that all users are in growth phase and with it your influence also grows. This influence can help you make money, one of the ways I know is by publishing from busy.org and using the busy tag.
According to the amount of SP that all your followers add up you will get a vote from busy.org and when you exceed a certain amount then you get the vote from busy.pay that carries 500.000SP, the percentage of its vote will depend on your influence (amount of SP your followers add up) and it will be a fixed vote that you will receive when you publish from busy.org using the busy.org tag (one vote every 12 hours to avoid abuses).
So far I have not tested if this also influences the % of vote that give you other applications such as esteem, dtuve, dlive and the like but if you do it for busy.app.
If you want to get followers you can do so by applying the induction follower method mentioned above, remember that publishing good articles will also give you followers and if you make your publications get great rewards you will also have new followers.
