The Law must be upheld, or we have anarchy. No one us above the Law.
This is how a Department gets the respect of the Public. It has worked here!
We have placed three in Prison, for cause recently.
:)>Yeah that's what's so unique about the story, almost anywhere else the department would cover for a fellow officer. No one is supposed to be above the law but they are in most jurisdictions.
We have some damn fine officers! Demand it there too.
The Creek County Sheriff's department arrested a friend, illegally; and jailed him for 5 days. The final result was 22 people in that office were removed (can't ever work in law enforcement again), and about 6 went to prison.

Part of it was the Judge! They asked him to sign a search Warrant, AFTER the fact! He refused, and called the FBI instead. He sent his Bailiff with my friend, to help get him out of Jail. He gave them One hour to get him processed out; or be jailed for contempt!
